10 June – Twitter removed the no-follow rel-tag from all external links –
The nofollow link attribute has been removed by Twitter from tweets and posts in its source code. It is unknown whether Twitter intentionally removed this characteristic and whether or not search engines like Google would value links from Twitter. Rel=”nofollow” appears to no longer be used by Twitter. The profile, tweets and other twitter pages links now contain followed links.
